After refueling the 2004 Rhino 660 won't start

I recently picked up a 2004 rhino 660 with 300 hours that is immaculate. went for a quick ride and it ran flawlessly. ran out of gas, filled it up, drove a little further, and then parked for twenty minutes. returned, briefly ignited, and then died. It doesn't start anymore; it just cranks.

Considering a fuel problem,perhaps a vapor lock or a prime-losing pump? Has anyone encountered this? appreciate any tips.

It seems like your Rhino 660 might have a vapor lock issue, which can happen if the fuel pump loses its prime after you run out of gas. To check the fuel flow, disconnect the fuel line from the carb and see if fuel comes out when you turn the key. If nothing comes out, the pump could be the problem. You can try using a syringe to manually prime the pump if it's not getting any fuel. Make sure to look at the fuel lines and filter for any clogs or damage, and replace the filter if neccessary. If it turns out the pump is the issue, you can either get an OEM replacement or consider a higher volume kit like the one from Weller Racing

Yeah, had something like that happen before and it ended up being a tired fuel pump that gave out once things heated up, think about a cracked line letting air in too

Yeah, you're on the right track thinking fuel issues. It could be a vapor lock or maybeee the fuel pump is losing pressure after sitting? Try to bleed the lines or tap the pump. That's a quick fix though, I don't know what to do for the long run.

Yep, the vacuum fuel pump is notorious for this. It might just take a lot of cranking to pull fuel all the way from the tank to the carb again.
Don't pump the throttle while cranking, as that can actually reduce the vacuum and make it harder for the pump to do its job!
