2012 Rhino 450 tire replacement

I was out on my 2012 Rhino 450 when a big stick punctured the sidewall of one of my tires. I got it second-hand and it has 26-in aftermarket tires. I'm thinking of replacing them and switching back to the original 25-in tire size for all four. Is it a good idea? I usually take it on short trips on gravel and dirt roads, oftentimes muddy conditions.

idk, man. for mostly gravel and dirt, 25" should be fine, but mud might be tougher

hmm stock 25 inch tires is a bad idea as long as the tread suits your usual conditions, you'll get better reliability and a smoother ride.

Why and how in all that's holy did you manage to come to this conclusion? It's like the engineers at Yamaha that are smarter than half of the internet combined made a mistake with the 25s.

@RhinoRider.55 you'll be perfectly fine with the 25s, just make sure you get a good set of tires that can cover your needs nicely.

You’ll be fine going back to the stock 25s, @RhinoRider.55. Just make sure the tread matches your usual riding, whether for gravel, dirt, or mud. That's when you’ll get better reliability and a smoother ride than the 26s.
