crankshaft and connecting rods

My grandpops asked me to repair his 2011 Yamaha Rhino 700.. it's been sitting in their storage space for a couple of years now. I need recommendations on which crankshaft and connecting rods to use. First, should I go with stock or hotrods? Anyone also had a good opinion about CP-carrillo rods?

I'd go with Hot Rods for a reliable rebuild. CP-Carrillo is great if you're looking to spend a little extra. I'm excited to see what you choose. Sounds like a fun project

yep, agree with ya. Hot Rods crankshaft and connecting rods offer a good balance of increased strength and reasonable cost compared to stock

CP-Carrillo is top tier if you want bulletproof strength too..but probably overkill unless you're building for real big power.
