tire upgrades for my 660

I'm new to this platform and I need some advice. Want to go bigger on the tires so I'm interested in learning how big I can go before I need to start making modifications

not sure which year you're asking about, but I did some research about my 2008 and it seems that anything up to 26 will be fine with no modifications and trimming. Anything more than that and you'll need to include the angle grinder in the mix

Just a quick tip, you can often go 10-20mm wider than the stock size without running into clearance or handling problems. Make sure to check the swingarm, fender, and chain for space. If you want to go wider than that, you might need to add spacers or do some trimming. What bike are you working on?

Stock is usually around 25" so you can go for 26-27" without issues I guess but if it's 28," you're gonna need a lot more than the tires. You're gonna need a lift kit to avoid the rubs or wheel spacers. Power loss is expected for bigger tires unless you're gonna regear. I guess just think about what you're willing to lose.
