Aftermarket choke cable fitment issues

I swapped out the carb and choke cable on my friend's Rhino 660. The carb swap was easy, but the new choke cable seems too short to fit right. Has anyone else had this issue with aftermarket cables? Should I just get an OEM one instead?

Yeah, thats a common issue with some aftermarket choke cables, they're often just a bit off in length or fit. If its not seating right or feels tight, it's probably more hassle than it's worth. Going with an OEM cable is usually the safer and better bet for proper fit.

Yeah, that’s pretty common with aftermarket cables on the Rhino 660.

A lot of them are universal fit and end up being slightly short or having the wrong housing length, especially once you route them the same way as OEM. Before you ditch it, double-check routing and adjust at both ends if possible. If it’s still tight or pulling at full extension, OEM is usually the safer bet, the fitment is almost always correct and it avoids binding issues.
